The idyllic community of Andechs is located in the Starnberg district, nestled in the gentle foothills of the Alps and only a few kilometers from Lake Ammersee. Andechs is world famous for its Benedictine monastery, which is enthroned within sight of the apartment on the "Holy Mountain". The apartment offered exclusively by us is located in a central, yet absolutely quiet location. Andechs itself offers everything for daily needs as well as daycare centers and a modern elementary school. The nearest larger town is Herrsching am Ammersee with excellent infrastructure. Lake Starnberg and the district town with its sophisticated flair are also quickly reached.

The recreational and leisure value of this location is excellent. Around Andechs, walking and hiking trails invite you to relax; by bike, you can reach beautiful swimming spots on Lake Ammersee. With Hohenpähl and Tutzing, there are two popular golf courses in the vicinity; in addition, there are the renowned clubs at the Wörthsee and in Feldafing. The lakes Ammersee and Starnberger See are also known as dreamlike sailing areas with breathtaking alpine panorama.

Andechs is an optimal starting point to the south in the direction of the Alps; on quiet side roads you can quickly get from here to hiking and skiing even on busy weekends.
