Seaside turn-of-the-century villa

At the far end of Djurön's tranquil headland, on the southern shore of the Baltic sea bay, rests this formidable turn-of-the-century villa. After passing through the peninsula's delightful nature reserve and turning off the road, you are met by a beautiful garden, full of plants that bloom all year round. History
Villa Väpplingen, as the house is also called, contains a piece of cultural history. Pehr Swartz moved the family's mill business to the peninsula at the beginning of the 20th century, and at that time, a number of workers' villas were built in the surrounding area. A new small community was formed which mainly exists to this day. One of these is Villa Väpplingen.
