Only a few minutes walk away you will find shops for your daily needs (bakery and greengrocer's as well as at the nearby Romanplatz supermarket and drugstore, wine shop, bookshop, post office, banks, dry cleaners etc.). There are also excellent eateries to choose from in the close vicinity (including Canal Grande, Acetaia, Romans).

The connection to the public transport is very good. Bus lines 51 and 151 to the S-Bahn station "Laim" (main line) and tram line 17 to the main train station (change at Romanplatz to Rotkreuzplatz with subway connection U1) run about 150 meters away at Menzinger or Notburgastraße. The subway station "Gern" (U1) can be reached in a 20-minute walk through the villa colony Gern.

Nymphenburg offers a variety of childcare facilities (including bilingual facilities). Also in the Schlossrondell is the sought-after Maria-Ward primary school. Excellent secondary schools are also available (including the private Nymphenburg schools and the Maria-Ward schools, both with Realschule and Gymnasium branches).
